I like combining the soft pastels and the sharper and exact lines that I get with the charcoal I think they compliment each other, since Pastel as a medium adds volume and the other adds firmness to the drawing.

VERY well done. I love the darkness in it and that the face is fading into said darkness. Very solemn and very beautiful (in a masculine sort of way of course!) You have a wonderful style, very unique. I love it!
