Small treasure - Oil on panel painting with a female figure

Sold
6" x 8" Oil on canvas panel
I was thinking how much are women dependent on their bags and purses where they carry all of their "small treasures" inside, on the other hand I guess it's a good thing if you have almost everything you need in just one bag.

Carmine dress - Art painting with a female figure by Gallery Artist

Sold
5" x 7" Oil on gessoed panel
The oil paint that I used for the dress was all alizarin crimson, but I think the title resonates better when you say Carmine...

The hidden trail - Plein Air Impressionist landscape paintings by California artist

5" x 7" Oil on gessoed panel
It's one of those places where there's a naturally formed trail by the mountain that's not so obvious to first glance, it took my attention and I was painting frantically before the day ceases and takes away all the light from my painting.

The trumpet player - Figurative gallery art by California artist

Sold
5" x 7" Oil on gessoed panel
This little trumpet player brought music to my painting, it's funny how both music and painting co relate with each other with the notes and tonal values and also setting up the composition.

Two of a kind - still life gallery daily painting by the artist

Fresh and colorful still life composition with nectarines and cherries, I've painted it under north light, no artificial fruits or lights used:)

Dark feather - original Daily still life Oil painting with an ink bottle

5" x 7" Oil on canvas panel
The lightness of the feather and the grounded ink bottle suggest 2 polarities, like the sky and the earth, at the same time both the feather and bottle are dark, just to make things more confusing:)

High expectation - Female nude nudes oil paintings by California artist

Sold
5" x 7" Oil on gessoed panel

I've set this figure up to look at the distance with a sense of yearning, like she's looking for a higher purpose, even though the future is abstract and unknown she has the choice to hope for something better.

Girl with a red scarf - Female portrait of a girl oil painting - Gallery paintings

Sold
4" x 6" Oil on canvas panel

This portrait has a sort of religious quality, maybe its the posture of the figure or the little girl's face looking down that adds to the spiritual theme of the portrait, still I think maybe its just the purity of a child that emanates that religious/spiritual feel that I find very intriguing and challenging in my attempt to translate that on the canvas.

Japanese cup with hydrangea Art painting still life by artist

email me if you wanna purchase this painting
6" x 8" Oil on canvas panel

This still life composition was all about color and I was trying to capture all the color variables that drew my attention in the first place, from the warmer tones to the cooler violets, I really like how all these colors relate to each other and connect the whole piece together.

Oriental pair - Painting a day Still Life by the artist

Earth day Mango #3 Art Oil Gallery Painting

5" x 7" Oil on canvas panel

Well tomorrow is Earth Day and I thought that I should post a painting that celebrates our mother earth and all the fruits that she's been giving us unselfishly, I'm really grateful for that, hopefully we can raise the awareness of our unity and unseparateness with nature.

The Expectation ART Female figure painting exterior

SOLD
5" x 7" Oil on canvas panel
I wanted to convey a sense of anticipation in this piece with the female figure turned away from the viewer and at the same time I got a certain calmness with the colors that I used in the background which kinda balanced both feelings at the same time.

Candlelight dancer (female nude study) Art oil painting
