Merry Christmas
In the vein of the Christmas season I decided to list a bunch of different sketches, drawings and small oil paintings for sale, they are all listed on a seven day auction with a Really low starting bid, I thought its a good idea to clean out the studio so I can start some new ones in the upcoming year

This one's really a small size for a figure but it has some cool flowing dynamics throughout the painting, when it's this small you gotta keep the space well thought out and tell a story with less, I'm not a big fan of overpainting things, its much harder to create a piece that's effective and works within its own limited frame...so in this respect, each brushstroke counts.

It's one of those places where there's a naturally formed trail by the mountain that's not so obvious to first glance, it took my attention and I was painting frantically before the day ceases and takes away all the light from my painting.

I'm always fascinated with these rustic entrances, they seem like they have a soul on their own, I guess the longer the history of the place the more interesting it becomes, for painting especially, the constantly changing light outdoors was also a particularly challenging task when painting a place like this.

Traffic cityscape oil painting

My main goal in this painting was movement and light, I think the flow of traffic is a good subject for this particular idea since its constantly moving, the gas from the cars creates hazines around them and I always get the same question in my head when I observe this kind of a scene, ...where are we going?

This is the sixth alleyscape that I did from the series, I was exloring the dynamics of subtle gradations and perspective in this one, I'm pretty pleased with the outcome since I think I reached that "Live" feeling that I was after, very close to the original location that I was observing.
