SOLD "Mango" 5" x 7" Oil on Canvas Panel, Auction starts @ 8.00pm Pacific time.
Still life with a Mango, the color contrast and the textures on this tropical fruit were particularly interesting to explore with the soft color and light gradations.

"Los Angeles Alleyscape" 5" x 7" Oil on Canvas Panel, Auction starts @ 8.15.pm
From my L.A. Cityscapes series, a sunlit Alleyway exploring the different structures of the houses and buildings with lots of light and dark at play using bold colors as the perspective of the composition takes you within the painting, in its own reality.I'll be listing probably another alleyway like this just a little bigger in size pretty soon. view currently available paintings
I saw this house nearby where I live and I was drawn by its color intensity as sunlight falls on it, so I knew I had to paint it, the result is this, a full of life colorful little oil painting with an almost Impressionist feel for color. view currently available paintings

SOLD "Message in a Bottle" 6" x 6" Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas, Sides Painted, No need for a Frame
Auction starts @ 8.15.pm The inspiration for this painting came when thinking about all these different ways of communications we have today at our disposal and I thought I'll make a painting on this theme to deliver my own message, my way, using my tools, send it in a bottle, to whom it may concern, whoever gets this message:)
SOLD "Portrait Of A Young Man" 5.5" x 7.5" Charcoal and Pastel on "Canson" drawing paper, Varnished Auction starts June 1 at 8.00PM.
I like combining the soft pastels and the sharper and exact lines that I get with the charcoal I think they compliment each other, since Pastel as a medium adds volume and the other adds firmness to the drawing.
Auction starts @ 8.30.pm
Still life with peaches and leaves, the composition is set inwards to suggest the third dimension, I've placed the leaves around the peaches to add to the organic feel of the painting.
Auction starts @ 8.45.pm Male Nude seen from behind reading a letter, I wanted to hide the letter from the viewer to achieve a more intimate/personal mood in the composition leaving more to the imagination of the observer about the letter's content.
"Onion and Knife" 5" x 7" Oil on Canvas Panel,
The second still life from the new series, this one is in a diagonal composition, the knife gives the direction going inward creating the third dimension and the wrinkled drapery underneath simulates movement around the still objects.
This is the first piece from a new still life series that I've started, I usually have different ideas about setting up still lives and they change constantly, so you will have an insight as my perception on this subject changes from one to another as I'm experimenting with composition and subject.

This is the latest portrait from my studio, it's been done in 'alla prima' mode, with very loose brushwork, to emphasize the intensity and spontaneity of the moment better.
I had to reshoot the image for this piece since I wasn't really satisfied with the first take, I never really am actually, it's hard to capture the original dimension of the painting, this one represents it much better though.
